CITY OF BONES

City of Bones by Cassandra Clare is a fantasy novel that follows the protagonist as she discovers a hidden world of Shadowhunters and supernatural creatures.

While listening to the audiobook, I was inspired to reimagine parts of the story as a graphic novel. I illustrated a few scenes using a muted color palette to visualise the urban fantasy atmosphere, while letting small pops of color stand out.
